Business Analyst

Job Title:   Business Analyst


Department:  Marketing


Reports to:  President, Huasu

SUMMARY:


- Conducts business, market, competitive, technical, and financial analyses in support of company business activities.


- Develops, refines, and recommends actions resulting from benchmarking and other studies, supply/demand/selling price trends, econometric/financial models, forecasts, and budgets.


- Projects, understands, and supports management to control business results against plan.


- Evaluates commercial agreement and operating improvements.


- Estimates valuation and negotiating approaches for targeted internal and external business development, acquisition, and joint venture opportunities.


- Works with corporate to organize, analyze, and facilitate business development, M&A, and related due diligence processes for targeted projects.


- Prepares business reports for Huasu.


- Conducts special studies as required for the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Business Analysis


a) Lead development and coordination of annual budgets


b) Lead development and coordination of monthly forecast


c) Prepare weekly, EXCO and monthly business report


d) Review and validate financial models and forecast


e) Recommend budgets and allocations and evaluates expenses

f) Provide needed business, financial, and sensitivity analyses

g) Lead benchmarking, competitor analysis and other key studies

h) Identify areas for potential strategy changes and operations improvements

2. Special Studies and Other Responsibilities. (as needed)


a) Analyze and provide data for surveys, benchmarking, legal actions, etc


b) Support corporate business development and M&A project

5. Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams.

None – but must lead multi-disciplinary teams in support of achieving various goals and tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and to develop in these areas. Incumbent must have strong analytical/modeling skills with some experience in the chemical or manufacturing business. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and be able to develop accurate, detailed analyses under time pressure. Must have effective verbal/written/presentation skills with bilingual atmosphere.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering discipline required, with an MBA strongly preferred. Requires five plus years of work experience in Business analysis, chemical manufacturing, or related field. Prefer chemical, petroleum, or manufacturing business experience.

 

Sales & Marketing Director

Job Title:   Sales & Marketing Director


Department:  Sales & Marketing


Reports to:  President, Huasu

SUMMARY:
 Reporting directly to the president of Huasu plastics, the director of sales & marketing directs sales team, market development team, product management team and customer service team to achieve sustainable and profitable growth of Huasu plastics products and services in both domestic and export markets, and drives customer satisfactory

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Leads team to understand changing market dynamics and customer needs, translate them into actionable business strategy and implement the strategy to achieve pre-set company goals and objectives.


2. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quota for regions and territories; projects expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product.


3. Manages sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.


4. Establishes and adjusts price strategy by monitoring cost, competition, and supply and demand.


5. Drives new business development programs to ensure sustainable growth.


6. Builds channels to new market and new territories either directly or through strategic partnerships.


7. Develops, implements and manages a key Account Management strategy around key customers.


8. Implements new practices in marketing communications to grow revenue and to assist other departments in the delivery of a strong return on investment.


9. Works with corporate to organize, analyze, and facilitates business development, M&A, and related due diligence processes for targeted projects.


10. Develops and maintains website, hands out, brochures, advertising, external communications that serves customer, employee and partner needs.


11. Manages reports required by the company and corporate headquarter.


12. Manages and upgrades sales and marketing key performance metrics and improves systems and processes to maximize business intelligence.


13. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational and commercial workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in industrial societies.


14. Inspires team members on personal development to serve healthy organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONS


- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and to develop in these areas.


- Leadership experience in marketing and sales management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance is required.


- Incumbent must have strong leadership skills, project management skill, excellent communication and negotiation skill, problem solving skill with experience in the chemical or manufacturing business in multi-national companies.


- The proven ability to build and maintain a higher performance culture through effective performance management method is required. The role requires an excellent change agent, using a style of management that mentors/coaches team to inspire their best performance. The role needs to think strategically and cross boundaries.


- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


- Must have effective verbal/written/presentation skills with bilingual atmosphere.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


- Undergraduate degree or above with business, marketing or chemical background


- At least 10 years experience with a significant experience in sales management


- Preferably with a previous experience as a PVC resin manufacturer or plastic film user or maker in an engineering company
- International sales and market development experience


- Distributor management experience


- Product and price management experience


- Knowledge of ISO, SAP and S&OP system Operators

Qualifications:

Aged between 25 and 40; junior high school degree or above; able to adapt to work shifting (two days off every four working days); people with PVC relevant experience or local Taicang residents are preferred.

Responsibilities:


1. Mold installation based on instructions; equipment start-up; process adjustment, first sample inspectio and packaging;


2. 5S: cleaning of the equipment, and operation area.

R&D Engineer

Qualifications:


Aged between 25 and 35; holder of a Master Degree in chemical/Polymer materials; excellent graduates with Master Degree in related major are also acceptable

Responsibilities:


1. Project development in PVC film, compounds, resins, printing and laminating products;


2. New raw material development;


3. Fundamental research & development on PVC formulation and process.

Other Requirements:


1. People with relevant R&D experience in PVC industry are preferred;


2. Open-minded and a diligent thinker, practical and rigorous working attitude;
3. Fluent reading and writing of English is required.
